Spring fever

It's been a chilly and rainy February in these parts so Grandma's girls have a major case of spring fever. Although it may not be spring time weather the girls love wearing springy colors. Grandma made them this cute peasant dress that serves as a great transition piece. The girls wore their dresses with leggings and boots to preschool today but in a few weeks in will be perfect with sandals. Doesn't your little cutie need this sweet dress for her spring attire?

Cutest Pumpkins in the Patch

 

The weather here has been amazing lately! This past Sunday the girls headed to a pumpkin patch for day filled with hayrides, boiled peanuts, and of course, pumpkin picking. Grandma made Cali and Addison these adorable applique t-shirts especially for their outing. Mommy thinks they are the cutest pumpkins in the patch for sure!

Sweet lil gifts

Two of Cali's closest friends recently had their 4th birthdays. Cali couldn't wait for Grandma to make her buddies something cute to wear while they craft.

Together they came up with these sweet little aprons for the girls. Of course now Cali and Addison must have Grandma make aprons for them too!

Summer Lovin'

Grandma has been very busy this summer, and the girls have been too! It's been fun filled with play dates, day camps, and of course pool days. Grandma made Cali and Addison these pool wraps for lazing by the pool and ocean. They are also great for after shower time too. They love them so much she is working on some more for them as mommy types. Lucky girls!

Grandma made this wrap for the girls' most wonderful babysitter who will be attending UGA this fall.

Whale of a good time

 Grandma made Cali this applique whale shirt with matching ruffle pants this past week. Cali's sweet friend had his 4th party at a local gymnastics studio so what a better day to wear her new outfit. All the kids had a great time and Cali even ziplined for the first time!

We love our pup!

Anyone who knows our family knows we love our dog, Marley, especially his girls! Grandma made them this sweet little dress with our boy holding a heart in his mouth just in time for Valentines day. It is so cute we had to wear it sooner! We are thinking this will be their outfit for his birthday too.

Pumpkin Pup

The girls have a pup named Marley who they adore. When mommy saw this applique design she knew Grandma would have to do something cute for the girls. Well she went above and beyond with this darling swing top and ruffle pant outfit.

Mommy can't wait to see the Christmas pup;)!

Candy Corn Cuties

Halloween is right around the corner so Grandma made the girls matching candy corn outfits. 

Cali wanted a candy corn tee so Grandma made her a pair of black gingham ruffle pants to match.

Since Addison has no say yet,Mommy wanted an aline gingham dress to match big sis. They both look sweet enough to eat!

Go Jackets!

Cali wore her Georgia Tech applique tee and ruffle pants to celebrate her daddy's alma mater's victory in Saturday's game. Addison has a matching outfit too but wasn't having anything to do with having her picture taken. Mommy will post gameday photos of both girls soon!

School Days

Cali started back to preschool last week so Grandma made the girls matching apple dresses for the first day.

Back to Work

Life has been very busy in the last year. There is a new member to our family. Cali welcomed a little sister,Addison, almost a year ago. Taking care of 2 little ones has taken Grandma away from sewing BUT now mommy stays home so Grandma is back to work. Grandma now mongrams and appliques her creations too. Mommy thinks her girls are very lucky to have such a talented Grandma, and well dressed too!

Getting Crabby

Grandma has been busy sewing some adorable summer outfits for Cali and her friends. Just recently grandma did something she doesn't do often. Sewing for boys! Many of Cali's friends are boys so grandma gave it a go. The results... we think they're pretty cute! These crab seersucker shortalls and shorts are for 2 brothers,ages 2 and 4, and matching dress is for a sweet 3 year old friend. Super cute for the lazy beach days ahead!

Pillowcase dresses

Although it is only February we are all starting to have Spring fever around here. Grandma has made Cali some pillowcase dresses for the upcoming warm weather. The ribbon necklines are adjustable so Cali can wear a shirt underneath until the temps start rising. What a great transtional piece for Spring.

Celebrations

Grandma has made Cali some super fun dresses for the upcoming holidays. The purple dress has purple, green, and gold buttons for Fat Tuesday. The Saints dress is for Superbowl Sunday... GEAUX SAINTS!! Cali won't feel a pinch with her shamrock dress for St. Patty's Day.

Love is in the air!

Grandma has been so busy making Cali some special outfits for Valentine's day. Some of the outfits are a pink cord aline jumper, a red damask ruffle dress, pink and brown toile swing top with matching pants, and a ruffle shirt with the softest minky dot pants. Cali will be the best dressed love bug ever!

Beach Baby

Mommy has a friend who is about to have a baby girl any day now. Cali knows Lina will love the beach just as much as she does... Lina's mommy sure does! Grandma made this sweet yellow seersucker crossback dress for all those hot south Florida days in this beach baby's future. Is it summer yet?

Christmas Ruffle Pants

Grandma just made Cali 2 new ruffle pant outfits to celebrate this holiday season. We couldn't wait for Cali to wear them to share. Mommy thinks they're that cute. We will add pictures of Cali sporting her new gear soon!

'Tis the Season

Cali is having so much fun wearing all of her fun Christmas outfits Grandma has made for her. She loves the pom-poms on this black snowflake dress. She pranced around all afternoon!

Brooke turns 1!

Cali's friend turns one at the end of this month. Grandma made Brooke this pink and brown ruffle pant and shirt outfit to match her party colors. Happy Birthday Brooke!

Christmas Dresses

The Christmas season is right around the corner so Grandma has been very busy making some Christmas dresses for Cali and some of her friends. These jumpers are made of festive corduroy with different trims of ribbon and fur. Who wouldn't feel the holiday spirit in these dresses?
